Two of my favorite rappes B.o.B and Lupe Fiasco take a trip to Metropolis with Janelle Monáe in the video for the remix to “Tightrope.” The trio shows off their fancy footwork in the black-and-white clip directed by Lacey Duke.

Mo Money...Mo Problems now this man knows he needs to get this taking care of before he ties the knot. Alicia Keys see the light this man can't handle his money/responsibilities You better get him to sign a PRE-NUP!!!

Swizz Beatz has again been hit by the tax man. According to public records, the fiancé of Alicia Keys -- who's pregnant with Beatz's child -- was slapped with an IRS lien of $652,727 on June 3 for unpaid 2008 income tax. The music producer, real name Kasseem Dean, has had a string of liens filed against him and his former wife, Mashonda, in New York, Georgia and California. Their debts stand at about $2.2 million. A lawyer for Beatz said, "We have been discussing the issue with the government for years and are currently negotiating an amicable resolution of the dispute."

When I was watching the show it was hard to see all  this jewelry with that mass of smoke produced on the stage, when Kayne West was performing his new song "Power" on top of  a Volcano at the BET Awards this past Sunday.  It appears he wasn't the only thing on the stage that caught the fans eyes it was that Gia-amorous ass "throwback Egyptian" gold jewelry look.

Jacob & Co. created a custom-made link chain and charm depicting Egyptian god Horus, as well as a four-finger pyramid ring, for Mr. West’s comeback performance. Both are made of 24k yellow gold.

According to Kanye’s blog, Horus is one of the oldest and most significant deities in the ancient Egyptian religion. Horus served many functions in the Egyptian pantheon, most notably being god of the sky, god of war, and god of protection.

Kanye’s monstrous chain and ring came with a larger-than-life price tag. Both items retail for a whopping $300,000, a spokesperson for Jacob & Co.

Ughhhh HATED IT...Total Pimp Jewelry!!

Finally Sandra Bullock divorce is final and she can go on with life with her new African American adopted baby without that cheating adopted baby daddy/ex-husband Jessie James.  The documents, which were filed in Texas with the Travis County District Court this past Monday, indicate that "IT IS ORDERED AND DECREED that B.A.S., Petitioner (Bullock), and J.J.G., Respondent (James), are divorced and that the marriage between them is dissolved," thus ending the Hollywood union just months after James' numerous affairs surfaced in the tabloids.

Even though the pair began the adoption process for Louis Bardot as a couple, the papers indicate that "there is no child of the marriage," meaning Bullock is acknowledged as Bardot's only parent, while James retains custody of his kids he entered into the marriage with, Sunny, Jesse Jr., and Chandler.

The papers indicate that court costs would be charged to the party who incurred them, reflecting what looks like a clean break between the Oscar-winning actress and the West Coast Choppers owner.

After being absent off the music scene for 8 years with no new music and tons of speculations and rumors about her mental state, Lauryn Hill finally breaks her silence. Hill discuss the state of music, her 5 children and new music.  It doesn't take much for a group of 30-somethings to get nostalgic about L-boogie. Her solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, on at a bar, and it takes the crowd right back to college days or high-school summers.  NPR scored a one on one interview with Lauryn Hill and asked some of the questions that all her fans have been wondering:

Why did you stop singing music:

"There were a number of different reasons," she says. "But partly, the support system that I needed was not necessarily in place. There were things about myself, personal-growth things, that I had to go through in order to feel like it was worth it. In fact, as musicians and artists, it's important we have an environment — and I guess when I say environment, I really mean the [music] industry, that really nurtures these gifts. Oftentimes, the machine can overlook the need to take care of the people who produce the sounds that have a lot to do with the health and well-being of society, or at least some aspect of society. And it's important that people be given the time that they need to go through, to grow, so that the consciousness level of the general public is properly affected. Oftentimes, I think people are forced to make decisions prematurely. And then that sound radiates."

About The Music

"I'm trying to open up my range and really sing more," she says. "With The Fugees initially, and even with Miseducation, it was very hip-hop — always a singing over beats. I don't think people have really heard me sing out. So if I do record again, perhaps it will have an expanded context. Where people can hear a bit more."

The editor of this article noted when he left this interview he was overwhelmed A) because he met Lauryn Hill and got the interview.  B) Because now Lauryn Hill is doing fine.

"I don't know if you know this, but I have five children," she says. "The youngest is 2 now, so she's old enough that I can leave her for a period of time and know she's going to be OK.  I'm starting to get excited again. Believe it or not, I think what people are attracted to about me, if anything, is my passion. People got exposed to my passion through music and song first.

Being a big fan of Chelsea Lately, I really love her when she interviews rappers especially T.I.  Last year before he went to prison he set down with Chelsea. Tip was back in the hot seat for the third time and more hilarity ensued. He spoke about the dirty care package he received from Chelsea while behind bars, their special “relationship,” Tiny’s reaction, and his latest projects. We can’t wait for his next visit.

As they step off there private plane & rather we get sick and tiered of hearing about the Kardashians or not these gals know how to keep the checks coming.

Kourtney,  Kim and mama Kardashian speak during a press conference announcing the themed "Kardashian Khaos"  retail store opening at the Mirage Hotel and Casino yesterday in Las Vegas.  No word on exact opening date, but a store in Vegas Mirage Hotel doesn't get much bigger then that.

Here's Fantasia's new video, Bittersweet, starring Redskins Wide Receiver Devin Thomas in the role of "Man who is straddled by Fantasia while nuzzling her neck and upper chest.  "She just needed a young sexy man in her video, and my name came up," Thomas told me a couple weeks back when I asked about this. This is Fantasia's third studio album and first single off her new album "Back To Me".

She's Back....Toni Braxton covers Australian singer Delta Goodrem’s “Woman” for the latest single from her album Pulse. The Grammy-winning songstress showcases her powerful voice on the ballad, which she hopes to remix with Alicia Keys. Toni states me and Alicia doing a new version of it where we both play piano, so maybe!”

This is the water cooler talk of the day. The  emotionally charged performance that everyone will be talking about.  Chris Brown was back on his feet as a surprise guestat the BET 2010 Awards.  While pperforming a dance tribute to Michael Jackson, Chris Brown became overcome with emotion and wasn't able to make it through “Man in the Mirror,” breaking down in tears onstage.

Breezy received a standing ovation from the audience.  This raw emotion was sincere and left the crowd thinking in this moment he's reflecting on the "Man In His Mirrior".  I hope now those who haven't forgave him will.

The BET Awards 2010 was a night of tributes. Chris Brown nailed the tribute to Michael Jackson. The tribute to Prince was on point. And El Debarge has still got it after all these years.

Probably in an effort to make up for the highly-criticized Michael Jackson tribute from the 2009 Awards, BET pretty much did an homage to every person, every event and every thing they could think of. But with that said, I had a blast watching the awards and going back in time. For more pics videos and a full list of winners (Click Now)

The rapper with the soon-to-be No. 1 album in the country segued into “Not Afraid” backed by a gospel choir. Side Note I love the original version of Airplnes Keyshia was trying to hard.

Today marks the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death.  The King Of Pop is missed and it really showed as Michael Jackson fans around the world began Friday marking the first anniversary of the music icon's death, with events from candlelight vigils to slumber parties planned in honor of the tragic superstar.

Jackson, 50, died from a drug overdose administered by his then doctor at a rented Los Angeles mansion on June 25 last year, a seismic celebrity death that triggered a global outpouring of tributes for the eccentric genius known as "The King of Pop."

Outside Los Angeles meanwhile, thousands of Jackson fans are expected to descend on the picturesque Forest Lawn Memorial Park, a star-studded cemetery where the singer's golden casket was entombed last September.  Leave A Comment what's your favorite MJ Video, how do you remember him??

Remember The Time

Now we all know Ciara talent is questionable, but when a producer/friend goes in on paper too say they ain't feeling you "Houston we have a problem".  The Dream Pissed off all 5 of Ciara fans and should have stuck with the old saying "If you don't have anything good to say don't say nothing at all".

The Dream (@officialdream) deleted his twitter account after posting a series of tweets addressing an interview that he did with Parlour Magazine. In the interview, he explained why he doesn’t help Christina Milian out with the baby at home and he also explained why the album that he is working on with Ciara may be her last opportunity to “fail”:

Dream stated:

You only get so many times to, and I won’t say fail, but not achieve. There’s an expectation of where Ciara should be in her career. To others, she’s achieved but not to us, because we saw where her career was headed. But now she’s back on the horse. When she first came out I, like Lil Jon and Jazze Pha, understood exactly who she was. It was that whole Atlanta vibe because if i’m not Atlanta, no one is. I knew if I had a chance to get with her creatively, there’s a specific type of swagger that she’s got. Tricky and I did her whole album, but it’s not all shallow songs like “Ride.” There’s play time but there’s substance too, it’s a great listen.

Also can you believe what this rude Pig stated about his own wife?? Peep below statement in the same magazine article about helping with his daughter:

I don’t because my “helping out” turns into expectations. I’ll get Violet on a late night maybe one or two times, but after that, no. If Christina’s tired, call the nanny, call Violet’s granny. We got people.

He then deleted his twitter page saying:

I’m convinced twitter is the devil.

No my friend we thinking your arrogantass might be the DEVIL apprentice??
