The controversial rapper wrapped gifts with Selita Banks at the New Yorkers for Children Wrap to Rap benefit at The Ainsworth in New York City yesterday. The duo helped bring smiles to the faces of foster care children (and Kanye) with the neatly-wrapped holiday goodies.
Mariah Carey kicked off NBC’s “Christmas at Rockefeller Center” on a high note. Dressed like Mrs. Clause in a red coat, the Newly Pregnant Pop star grabbed hold of the sparkly mic and performed her Merry Christmas II You single “Oh Santa!” with some cheerleaders and school boys before the lighting of the big tree.

Right before most of us was eating Turkey Montel Jordan broke the news through a litany of tweets on his Twitter account. “The teaching at that church is very strong and it’s very real. It’s a practical, multi-cultural church, multi generational,” Jordan said. “You’re there worshipping with different people of different nationalities different ages and that’s my idea of what heaven really looks like.” Montell stated he has no problem borrowing from his fame as a singer to help bring more people into the faith

The time is coming close for the Blade star to fight off bad guys in not a movie but real Prison time. Attorneys for Wesley Snipes are asking a judge to extend the actor's bail as he prepares for a possible appeal of his three-year prison sentence for a tax conviction.
attorneys urged a judge Tuesday to continue the bail while they prepare to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to hear his case.
Snipes was recently ordered to begin serving his sentence, but the judge did not set a surrender date. Snipes has been free on bail while appealing his 2008 conviction for willful failure to file income tax returns. Attorneys want snipes to turn himself in as early as this Friday.
The 48-year-old Snipes starred in the "Blade" trilogy, "White Men Can't Jump" and other films. He has recently been in Atlanta working on a new movie called "Master Daddy."
