I understand wanting more money e.t.c., but in this economy there is no way in HELL I would have gave up a Million dollar gig. Contract negations have broken down and resulted in Paula Abdul Ending speculation about her future on one of the most popular shows on television, confirmed Tuesday she will no longer be at the judge's table on American Idol.
Paula was said to be very angry that Ryan Seacrest, Simon Cowell contract gave them a significant raise. Ooh but Paula wasn't starving making speculated 10 million per season
With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to Idol. "What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. I do, without any doubt, have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all."
The announcement comes shortly after her manager angrily said there was no contract on the table and that "sadly" it didn't appear she would be returning. Her previous contract ended after the eighth season. Her departure now returns the number of judges to three, with Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson joined by Kara DioGuardi, who was just confirmed to be returning. Speculations American Idol knew this would happen that's why they added the 4Th Judge Kara this was strategy all alone. ??Will she be missed??

Rappers aren't the only one with BEEF. Does anybody still watch this show anymore?? Well if you do don't get too comfortable because the new judge is being Voted off , or Voting herself off. On last night's American Idol live broadcast, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson did very little to hide their disdain of new judge Kara DioGuardi.
When Kara interrupted Randy's critique of Kris Allen's performance, the irritated dawg shot a look down the table to Simon, who not-so-subtly proceeded to flip his middle finger (while pretending to scratch his ear) at Kara while she spoke.
This incident is only the latest tense incident between Kara and the three original judges. , insiders detail a backstage blowup that occurred after last week's performance show, which saw DioGuardi storming off the set after the credits rolled.

Now this should be interesting with a Thug for a boyfriend and a struggling career, money problems, bad wardrobe e.t.c. Tasia Mae aka American Idol Season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino is set to return to reality television in a new unscripted series on VH1. This probably will be a cross between "Keyshia Cole the Way it is" and her sis and mom new show "Frankie and Neffie".
The project will chronicle the nine-time Grammy-nominated singer’s life as a recording artist and young single mother.
The 24-year-old North Carolina native will reprise her role as “Celie” in The Color Purple: The Musical playing at the Kennedy Center in Washington this summer.

This should be cool and Yes I'm a Mariah fan, rumor is that Mariah Carey is set to strut her stuff on the American Idol stage not once, not twice, but thrice.
Fox News reports that it's a done deal for Mimi (the "good girl" diva) to join Bono, Brad Pitt, the Manning brothers and more on Idol Gives Back on April 9, and then return to the show the following week as a mentor, guest judge, and performer.
sources for the show statethat they will have several mentors this year, though they declined to confirm any names.
The question is: Does this mean the Idol contestants are taking on Mimi classics? Because, boy, would we like to hear Amanda Overmyer sing "Vision of Love."

Monday 50 year old Simon announced he was quitting the top-rated Fox TV show in May to launch his own singing contest next year. All good things or in some people opinion
Cowell said he had been offered "a lot of money" to renew his contract with "American Idol" sources say 100 million to do both.
"But I felt like doing something different. I want to leave 'Idol' this year bigger and better than before," he said. "We did talk about me staying on both shows, but when we looked at the practicalities of that, it was impossible."
"I believe it ('Idol') is not my show, but it's still very close to me...I am confident it will continue to be the No.1 show," he said.
His contract ends in May 2010. Simon receives 36 million per year as an Idol judge.
The ninth season of the show starts on Tuesday, with Cowell in place and new judge Ellen DeGeneres joining Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi. The only original judge left will be our DAWG Randy Jackson no reactions from Randy just yet on his thoughts of his B.f.f. leaving the "Dawg Pound". But other judges have responded.
Ryan Seacrest appears he will survive the departure of the sword tongue and tweeted:
"He is one of the most brilliant people in our biz! Congrats"
