Some might have never heard of DJ AM but he was a well known celebrity DJ. DJ AM, the sought-after disc jockey who became a celebrity in his own right with high-profile romances with Nicole Ritchie and Mandy Moore just to name a few and a glamorous lifestyle. AM survived a plane crash just months ago, was found dead in his apartment Friday. He had a history of drug problems.
UPDATE: Blink-182 paid a tearful tribute to their late friend during an encore at their Saturday night concert, E! News confirms. Where Barker would normally perform a drum solo, the band held an onstage vigil while all of the lights in the arena were turned off.
His Ex-girlfriend Mandy More also grief stricken:
"I am absolutely heartbroken," Moore said in a statement "To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones."After forming an unimaginable bond over their survival of the harrowing plane crash that claimed the lives of four people last September, Travis Barker is speaking about his grief over losing his close friend, DJ AM.
"Rest In Peace my brother, this really f---s me up," Barker tweeted earlier this evening. "I'll never forget everything we've been thru and every time i play the drums I'll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being."
"Don't know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM," read Barker's emotion-filled tweet. "My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, I'll never forget all the good times we had."Authorities will need to conduct toxicology tests, expected to take weeks, to determine what killed celebrity disc jockey DJ AM, a medical examiner's office spokeswoman said Saturday.

New sources are reporting John Travolta 16 year old son died today. Sources reported the family was vacationing in the Bahamas and his son Jett who suffers from Autism had a seziure. Reports have came detailing the fatal injury was the result of Jett hitting his head on the bathtub, toilet seat, or both. And they say the intimation that Jett went undiscovered for hours is absolutely false.
Police have said the last time anyone saw Jett was when he went to the bathroom on January 1. His body was discovered by nanny Jeff Kathrein the next day at 10 AM. In fact, McDermott and Ossi say it appears Jett went back and forth to his room and the fatal injury occurred "very shortly" before Jett was found on the bathroom floor -- McDermott called it a "small window of time."
McDermott Travolta Attorney and Ossi tell us two nannies were present on the trip and Jeff was by his side 24/7. There was a baby monitor device by Jett's side and there was also a chimer in the bathroom when the door opened.
McDermott and Ossi say it is still unclear if Jett fell to the floor as a result of a seizure or if he had a seizure after falling or slipping. There was blood on the floor of the bathroom, but "not a tremendous amount." It appears the striking of Jett's head was the cause of death, though it won't be clear until the autopsy is performed Monday morning.
Jett's body will be embalmed Monday afternoon. There will be a local showing on Tuesday and later that day the body will be flown to Ocala, FL for burial. Jett was his oldest child they also have daughter Elia 8. Read More (Click Now)
