With the promotion blitz for Beyonce’s third studio album, I Am… underway, it seems as though people are forgetting that Beyonce has two movies in the mix as well. The lead song from the film Cadillac Records has leaked.
She gained almost 15 pounds to play the role," Beyoncé said in the forthcoming November issue of Instyle about her character in the film, which also stars Jeffrey Wright,Mos Def, Gabrielle Union and Adrien Brody.
- "It was way easier — and tastier — than having to lose so much weight for Dreamgirls,' " she added.
Beyoncé covers Etta James’ classic “At Last.” The song will appear on the soundtrack (Dec. 2) to B’s new film Cadillac Records (Dec. 5), in which she stars as the legendary blues singer. A music video with clips from the movie will be released in the coming weeks. To listen (Click Now)

Six months after marrying Jay-Z, Beyonce is at last revealing details about their top-secret wedding. What Jay and I have is real
It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real," the singer, 27, tells Essence magazine in its November issue.
Notoriously tight-lipped about her relationship with the hip-hop mogul, Beyoncé does share a little about her wedding day, but only after groaning, "You're gonna get me in trouble."
Beyoncé tells the magazine she didn't want an engagement ring because,
"People put too much emphasis on that," she says. "It's just material and it's just silly to me."
Instead, the magazine reports, she wears a band on her ring finger over a tattoo of the Roman numeral IV (Beyoncé was born on Sept. 4; Jay-Z on Dec. 4; they were married on April 4). Jay-Z, 38, has a matching tattoo on his left-hand ring finger . Read More (Click Now)

Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama already confirmed to MTV's that he's a fan of hip-hop, but the love continues to go both ways. One of the senator's longtime vocal supporters, Jay-Z, has scheduled two free shows this weekend in Detroit and Miami in support of the Obama campaign.
The first, which takes place at in Detroit on Saturday, will promote voter registration and encourage attendees to get involved in the Obama campaign, according to Detroit's WWJ TV. The push is on in Michigan to register new voters by the October 6 deadline to be eligible to vote in the November 4 election. Anyone who's at least 18 years old can pick up one free ticket at Obama campaign offices throughout southeast Michigan to attend the Detroit show and an accompanying rally.
Next, Jay will promote voter registration and Obama's campaign with a show in Miami on Sunday at Bayfront Park, according to the Miami Herald. Future banger for sure in my opinion. Hip-hop heavy hitters Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and T.I. aka “The Rap Olympic Team” go for the gold on “Swagger Like Us,” a new track reportedly off T.I.’s Paper Trail. The song samples M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes.” (listen)
