Usually this is the time I would say why is she copying?, But in this case this is a great thing following in the footsteps of Oprah, Madonna plans on building a school for girls in Malawi. This is were Madonna's adopted son is from.
Her lawyer said, "A task force of four prominent Malawians has already been formed to head the project which will be on the scale of what Oprah Winfrey has in South Africa. It is a multi-million dollar project and we will get the real costs in the next two weeks.

Anything to sell Cd's right??...Madonna appeared on BET’s “106 & Park” for the first time on Friday. It was one of her only TV appearances to promote her new album Hard Candy. Terrence and Rocsi fawned over her and the interview was just awkward. We couldn’t help but cringe watching it. But props to Madonna for keeping herself relevant after all these years. I actually love Madonna new song it called 4 minitues ft. Justin Timberlake if you have not heard it

This Young deadbeat dad has now came out of his cave. Papa don't preach.The father of Mercy James, the 3-year-old Malawi infant Madonna has been unsuccessfull trying to adopt, has suddenly surfaced and says he wants a role in the life of the daughter he thought he lost.
In fact, Papa's barely old enough to drive.
The only problem is the that James Kambewa is just 15, and Mercy's relatives are
already questioning his fitness to raise her.
In an interview with People, Kambewa, now a security guard, says he was the boyfriend of the girl's mother, 15-year-old Mwandida Maunde, and ended up fathering Mercy. He said he ran away after learning that Maunde died a few days after going into labor on Jan. 22, 2006. At that point, he assumed the child had died as well, only to learn Mercy was alive thanks to all the publicity surrounding the Material Mom's bid to take formal custody over her.
"Now that I know [Mercy] is alive I am willing to support her," the young man tells the magazine, noting that he and Maunde were high school students when he accidentally knocked her up. "Her parents were furious that I had messed up their daughter. They caused hell for me so I left town."

Madonna has a 3 year old David that she adopted and fell in love with a 4 year old girl who she has been trying to adopt for the past 18 months. But the judge denied Madonna due to a technicality.
A Malawi judge has rejected Madonna’s bid to adopt another child from the African country, according to the AP. A judge and lawyer, speaking to the AP anonymously, reportedly said the bid was shot down due to a requirement that prospective parents live in Malawi for at least 18 month before they can adopt. A judge waived that rule when Madonna took her adopted son David with her to London in 2006. It is unclear why Judge Esme Chombo ruled differently this time.
Madonna’s attempt to adopt 3-year-old Chifundo “Mercy” Who Mom is deceased and Dad no were in sight. Mercy James has created outcry amongst activists who claim the girl would be better off with relatives. They feel that since Madonna is pumping all this money in there country the little girl will be find either way and can benefit from the funding.
If Madonna can afford to adopt another fascinating black child and give them a stable home with a privileged upbringing…why would they have a problem with that?
