TV personality Big Mouth Wendy Williams reacts at having July 13 dedicated as Wendy Williams Commemorative Day by Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer at WBLS Radio on yesterday. Monday,July 13Th 2009 will be Transvestite Wendy Williams Day in Manhattan it was announced today by Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer. Stringer surprised Williams this afternoon on her top-rated radio show with the proclamation commemorating next Monday as “Wendy Williams Day.”
“O.M.G this is huge, I feel like I’ve arrived! Does this mean alternate side of the street parking rules no longer apply? Just kidding, this means so much to me, this is a huge honor,” said Wendy
A tremendously successful career as a radio personality and author, Williams has spent more than 20 years on the radio, 16 of them on the air in New York City.
The day-long celebration coincides with the national launch of Williams’ new syndicated talk show, THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW
